The SUCCESS Learning Community is a one-year program for freshmen in UCOL and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences designed to power up a CLAS degree. The SUCCESS Learning Community is available to students who live on- and off-campus and also to ANY major in UCOL or the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences: from Africana Studies to Biology to French to Math, and any degree in between.
Students joining the SUCCESS Learning Community will take common classes in both the Fall and Spring semesters. As a SUCCESS student, your journey will include investigating the power of problem-solving, creativity, leadership and community engagement, all in an effort geared toward recognizing and verbalizing the value of a liberal arts and sciences degree.
As a member, you will enjoy social and cultural outings with students with similar interests, learn about campus resources, have access to tutors and mentors, as well as participate in site visits with local, innovative and exciting companies. SUCCESS students will be prepared to express the spirit of innovation and excitement of graduating with a CLAS degree.
